Meet KING !
This volunteer favorite is a 2 year old, 70 pound bundle of sweet love who entered the shelter as a stray, adopted, and returned almost a year later because the owner couldn't control his reactivity to some dogs.
The shelter trainer evaluated KING when he entered the shelter, and found him to be somewhat shy when he initially interacts with someone; however, after he quickly realizes all is okay, he warms up and is very happy and playful.
KING has a great start on obedience. He already knows sit, stay, down, come, heel, find it, fetch, easy, calm, and wait He is eager to learn more.
KING has been in doggy playgroups, but is selective with dogs and needs a leader to remind him of how to play nicely and know when to interrupt any bad behavior.
He does pull slightly on the leash but is very responsive. With a little TLC, KING will be the perfect companion.
KING is ready for his forever family. He has been fully vetted, has current vaccines, dewormer, neuter, and microchip.
