Hi, folks! I'm Kimberly. I am almost 8 months old, and I am a Terrier Chi Mix. I came to MaxFund in November with my siblings.

I am still pretty young, so I have tons of crazy energy! I am very excited to meet new people, but I am still quite shy, so I won't come up to you right away. A home where I get good walks would be great for me. I also get along with kiddos, so would make an amazing family dog. I am still just a baby, so you'll need to be prepared for the things that come with puppyhood. Whether I grow up to be a first-rate canine citizen is directly dependent on the effort that my new family puts in. It's my ambition to be the best canine citizen ever, so I'd like a family whose ambitions match mine!

Do you have the time and patience to teach me the things I need to know? Will you be around most of the time, so I don't get lonely or bored? Will you watch me carefully, so I don't chew up your shoes, electrical cords, or furniture? Will you make sure that I'm never in a yard unattended? Will you forgive my occasional "accidents" ? Will you take me through Puppy Kindergarten? Will you give me the best in nutritious foods, so that I'll grow up healthy and strong? Will you give me lots of walks and supervised play and exercise?

How our adoption process works:
1. You MUST come into the shelter to meet a dog you are interested in (and meet a few others, while you’re at it!)

Our hours are 10-5 Mon, Wed, Thu Fri / 11-5 Saturday / 12-5 Sunday

We suggest you call ahead to be sure the dog(s) do not have pending applications

2. You will fill out your adoption application, including references, after finding a dog you’d like to adopt

3. The application review and reference checks will take up to 3-5 business days; you will not be able to bring a dog home same-day

We only take 2 applications per dog, before they are unavailable. This is why we suggest you call ahead to check the status of the pup!



We do not adopt out-of-state.
