Meet Kimber! She's a spayed female cattle dog mix (likely mixed with some bully breeds), around 45lbs and two years old. Kimber is moderate energy and enjoys walks and training sessions. She wasn't a fan of the summer heat, but now that things have cooled off she's interested in doing a bit more! She loves to hang out with her person and enjoys playing with her canine friends after appropriate introductions. She isn't a dog who will do well in a dog park or with random leash greetings, but she's been introduced to dozens of dogs through pack walks or in a structured daycare setting and has done great with everyone. Kimber has lived previously with cats with no issue.

Overall, Kimber is a sweet pup who will benefit from continued training and confidence building. She needs a home with adopters who are prepared to do some training and understand the importance of rules and boundaries. Kimber can be reactive towards strangers and unfamiliar dogs, so an adopter should be prepared to work on this and advocate for her. City life may be tough for her at first, so unless her adopter is experienced she will be better suited to suburban/rural life. Kimber is still learning manners, so older children would be best for her.

Kimber is being fostered in Marshfield, MA and needs to meet her potential family prior to adoption. She is house- and crate-trained, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.
