You must be 25 yrs of age or older to adopt through us. We are in the Rochester NY area and adopt dogs out locally.

Kiley is a 1.5 yr old, under 4 lb, chi who joined us in May when her leg was broken. At first it was thought she would have to have it amputated but our vet wanted to see if we could save it. A few months later it is finally healed but still requires a soft wrap for 2 wks so will be another couple of wks before she can go to her new home.
Kiley is potty pad trained and doesn't like other dogs so needs to be a only dog in home. She was introduced to a cat and was fine with the cat. Due to her small size and risk of re-injury to her leg (bones are tiny) we will not place her in a home with kids under 8 yrs of age. Once given the final all clear in couple of wks from our vet she will be ready to join some lucky families home. We are looking for a home in the Rochester NY area only. All animals are kept in foster homes so there is no shelter for you to visit animal. Please go to https://new2urescue.org/adoption/adoption-application/ if you would like to meet the foster animal or learn more.

All our dogs have been spayed/neutered; treated for worms; heartworm tested (if age appropriate); treated for fleas/ticks; microchip; and examined by veterinarian and given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed.

Adoption fees:
Puppy to 1 yr of age: $350 to $400
1 yr to 6 yrs of age: $250 -$400
6 yrs to 8 yrs of age: $200 -350
Over 9 yrs of age: Adoption fee varies
*NOTE* Purebreds and Designer breeds, regardless of age are $325 to $400
