Meet Kiki

Don't go breaking my heart You take the weight off me Honey when you knock on my door I gave you my key Right from the start I gave you my heart... You put the light in my life I've got your heart in my sights - 'Don't Go Breaking My Heart' by Elton John and Kiki Dee

Kiki, is a lovely young girl somewhere between 12 and 18 months old and weighs 35 lbs., and is a mix of pit and bully breed. She is without a doubt one of the sweetest loving pups we have had the pleasure of rescuing. This precious pooch found herself in dire straits a few months ago when she ended up in a shelter and very pregnant and ended up giving birth to seven healthy puppies. The shelter is no place for mamas and babies, so she and the pups were pulled into rescue. She was a great mama but once the babes were old enough, they went to other foster homes. Now it's all about Kiki! She adores everyone she meets, is great with kids, wonderful with other dogs and cats. Kiki is a calm loving girl who respects other's personal space but she sure does love to cuddle up. She is already crate and house trained via doggy door. She does well on leash but does pull and is great in the car. Kiki is still a pup herself, so she does have a lot of energy and loves to play. She loves all kind of chew toys, anything fun. She is quite accommodating when getting her nails clipped and getting baths. Kiki is already spayed (no more babies), up to date on all vaccinations, current on preventatives, and micro chipped. She is a sweet calm loving playful girl all rolled into one. She is looking for a loving family who will love her forever and give her the wonderful life she very much deserves. She'll light up your life and give you the key to all the cuddles and smiles you could ever want....so don't ever break her heart.

PUPPIES AND YOUNG DOGS GROW into the expectations of their families through love, care and consistent training. This, more than anything, defines their evolving behaviors. Puppies cannot be left unattended for more than 3 to 4 hours a day. Young pups can only go to homes with small children where the family is "puppy savvy" and has boundaries for both the puppy and the child.

PLEASE REMEMBER: The specific breed of any dog abandoned to a shelter or rescue is only the best informed determination of rescue in agreement with our veterinarians.
