Kiki is a very sweet girl. She came to us with a litter of 2 day old puppies. She has been spending her days being a great momma and raising the pups. Now that she is finished with her duties, she is looking for a home of her own. She has shown us that she is very sweet, gentle, affectionate and easy going. She is good with children and people, she is not a fan of other dogs if they get in her face. She prefers to be left alone. She will co-exist but doesn't enjoy interacting with them so far. She has a very high prey drive so cats, and any other small animal would not be suitable.
She is clean in the house and has not been too bad about getting into things. At times,if given the opportunity she will get on the counter for food items. But if anything edible is kept put away she is fine. She likes her treats and her comfy beds.
Kiki has been a pretty easy foster girl, she listens well, she has fairly decent recall considering she is a husky breed and has been tied most of her life, she is generally quiet, unless she has a story to tell you after a long day away at work. She has veen good both in and out of a crate when left alone. She loves making holes in the dirt to lay in, and is content to just watch the day go by in the yard when it's nice outside. She knows sit and is very food motivated. She is also a nervous girl when it comes to thunderstorms. She will pace and pant and may try to hide.
Kiki has been vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, vet checked, spayed, heartworm tested and treated wkth Nexgard Spectra. She came to us with her 8 puppies from IFAWs Northern Dogs Project.
