Kiki Basset Hound & English Bulldog Mix Palatine, IL

Low rider Kiki is the most interesting mix you'll see today. This 75-pound little lady is a BULLET (Basset Hound/Bulldog mix). Unlike her breed mix, Kiki is more couch potato than racer and at 8 years of age, she has earned the right to spend her time getting belly rubs and grabbing a nap here and there.

Completely potty trained, Kiki will sit by the door when she needs to go outside. Her other house manners are also impeccable, as she does not chew on anything that does not belong to her, is well-behaved when left alone and does very well with the children of the household who range in age from 7 to 13 years old. This sweet little lady will only bark when appropriate, and will crash anywhere as long as her people are nearby. Be aware that she does try to hop on the couch, but often it doesn't really work due to her physical makeup and weight distribution.

Kiki has gotten along well with the dogs she has met on walks; cats are an unknown. She does well on the leash for short walks and likes to play fetch with her toy turkey drumstick. Her favorite toys are the soft plush ones. Two things scare Kiki a bit: fireworks and thunderstorms.
