Meet Kiki

Kiki is a sweet girl! She is about 3.5 years old and is guessed to be a Shepherd mix (We aren't sure her exact mix, but her foster mom swears there is some Greyhound in her, with those long, lean legs she has).

KiKi had a bit of a rough start. She was found in a junkyard as a very young puppy. She'd been left to fend for herself and was suffering from serious skin problems. But, as you can see she's fully recovered.

KiKi can be a bit shy and scared when she first meets new people, but when she's comfortable, she is a funny, silly, affectionate girl. She has a gorgeous run and is agile and quick. She enjoys running in the yard and hiding in the landscaping. She does like to go for walks on a leash. She will pull a little, but that is easily correctable with the proper leash and collar.

Kiki has spent a lot of time playing with other dogs in her foster homes and seems to do well with both younger foster pups and well as playing with the small terrier mix that is in her current foster home.
She seems to get along easily with all dogs and is very “beta” with them—never trying to start trouble, just hanging out with them. She also does well with young children.

She loves to bask in the sunshine in the comfy chair by the window keeping a close eye on the neighborhood activity and lounge on the couch at night next to you watching TV and unwinding from the day.

Kiki is house and crate trained and will go to her crate easily or when nervous or scared. Kiki gets very nervous with large rain storms and thunder, so keeping her close to you helps as well as her thunder shirt. If you are not home, she is fine in the crate.

Kiki is a sweet girl, who would make a lovely addition to any family-whether it be someone active or at home more, single, or maybe someone with kids around, or a home with or without dogs. She seems to adjust easily!

Our adoption fee is a $200.00 donation to Pup Squad Animal Rescue. Our adopted dogs are all spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped. If you are interested in adoption, please go to www.pupsquad.org/adopt to read more about our policies and find our application. Applications should be submitted to adoption@pupsquad.org or via the online form.

We are happy to transport our dogs out-of-state as we have lots of experience doing this and love to see our dogs to the best homes possible! We will assist with the whole process to getting your new pet to you. Feel free to email us regarding availability or any other questions. Please remember all breed estimates are just that...estimations based on our experience. NOTE: We will only do transport if the dogs are 4 months of age or older as this means they are fully vetted and spay/neutered at this age.

Thank you for choosing to rescue an animal in need!
