Looking for a sweet, affectionate girl who would be an easy addition to your home? Well, Kettle might be the dog for you! She’s a middle-aged lady who’s easy in every way. She craves affection, especially belly rubs, great on a leash and in the car. Of course, she’s house trained, and we haven’t been crating her here but she often goes in herself for a nap. She would do best in a home with older children since she prefers to dine solo. Gets along great with my male Lab, simply an easy-going girl who will make someone a loyal, loving addition to their family.

Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.

Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
