Meet Kessel

6/1/2021

Kessel is a 5 month old mixed breed pup that currently weighs 40 pounds and will likely be somewhere in the 60 pound range when fully grown. Kessel is a stellar pup- he has an incredibly sweet disposition and loves people, other dogs, kids and is great with cats! The great thing about a pup this age is we know and therefore, you know, exactly what you are getting and this boy's personality is incredible. He is eager to please, smart, silly playful, ....he gets all the gold stars!!
He is now fully house broken, sleeps through the night and is already leash trained! He is a perfect car rider and can be taken out on excursions to run errands, go hiking, or just sit on a patio at a restaurant. He came into rescue with his mom so we know that she also has an incredibly sweet disposition. Kessel would be happiest in a home with another playful dog where there is a human present most of the time. Let us know if you are looking for that perfect pup because this boy has it all!

Kessel is up to date on shots and preventatives and is microchipped. He will be adopted with a neuter contract due to his size and age. Kessel's adoption fee is $250 plus any additional donation you feel appropriate. Our adoption fee is set to a level to make adoptions happen. They do not cover our costs. Thank you for your generosity and interest in our dogs!

All dogs adopted locally through SGDR receive a free six-week session of obedience classes and a lifetime of behavior support through our Project REWARD program with trainer Charlotte Blake.

You must have an approved application before being able to visit a dog. Visit our website below for an adoption application https://www.snootygiggles.com/dog-application/

If you expect to leave the dog alone for long periods of time, please do not consider adopting a puppy. Puppies need lots of attention and companionship. Thanks.

All known information about the animal is listed above. We do our best to give accurate information, but most of our dogs are rescues and do not come with a known history.
