Meet Kermit

Are you up for an adorable little spitfire of a dog? If so, Kermit may be your man! He is 13 pounds and we think he is about 3 years old and likely a Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier mix. He is incredibly sweet and loves to cuddle! He has a lot of energy and loves to run around and play with toys, but is ready to be right by your side when you are on the couch. He is good with other dogs, but bigger dogs make him nervous. He would be better with smaller dogs his size. He would also be ok as an only dog with someone who can give him the time and attention he craves. He sleeps well in a crate at night. He whines a little bit when left alone or put in a crate, but quiets down after a bit. He has not yet been tested with cats. He has not been tested with children either, but he is such a lover, I am sure he would be fine with kids that know how to be gentle with small dogs. Kermit does seem to have some mild skin allergies that may be related to food. He will need a higher quality food to help prevent him from developing skin irritations and hot spots. He also had a little issue with marking when I first got him, but this has drastically reduced since he has been neutered. My absolute favorite thing that I love about Kermit is that he smiles when you rub is belly! He is an absolute ham, and is sure to keep you laughing and on your toes! Are you ready for this sweet guy?
