Kepper is a 2 yo 45 lb petite bundle of hound joy. Kepper is dog friendly, and enjoys the company of her people. Smart and inquisitive, she’s making good progress with basic commands and leash manners. Hot dogs and cheese are great motivators in her training.

A CHN volunteer had this to say about taking Kepper to a busy holiday adoption event: “I’m so proud of this beautiful girl. As we walked around she approached people to say hi, said hello to several dogs, including a 13 wk old puppy she fell in love with, and greeted the many vendors. What I loved is when we stopped to talk she stood quietly at my side. On the car ride she found a bag with some bully sticks. She daintily chose one then laid down and chewed on it as we went down the road. Coming back, she nuzzled my neck and sat and looked out the window, a fantastic little lady.”

Her ideal home would be an active owner who loves going on long walks, and might even take her to scent classes or trials. She is a little too interested in felines, so a no-cat home is recommended. Also no young children for this girl, she needs older dog saavy kids

An application must be filed before meeting any of our dogs or puppies.
She is current on vaccines and has had a wellness exam, heartworm tested, and microchipped.
