Meet Keplar
Keplar is a 5 year old male Great Dane who came to our rescue after escaping his former “rescue” and being shot by a neighbor. Keplar has not had a great life until a few months ago. He was shot 5 times with a handgun. One shot broke his front leg. He was also shot in the nose which separated his soft pallette from his mouth. He’s had several surgeries while in our rescue and has made a miraculous recovery! Keplar is as good as new now and looking for his furever home. Keplar would do best in a home as the only male dog. He would also do best with older kids (teenage and older). He needs an experienced Great Dane owner. Keplar is incredibly sweet and loves his humans so very much. He has been doing wonderful in foster care. Because of Keplar sad past and failure by others we will be very particular to who he is adopted to. We want to make sure that Keplars next home is his final one, and one that is filled with lots of love and care.
