Meet Keno
New boy Keno is looking for his forever humans!
Since coming into rescue, this handsome youngster has been fully vetted, neutered, and is now showing off his smarty-pants style while learning solid leash skills and basic obedience commands, plus being a very good boy in his crate.
Keno is proving to be a delight to train. He is food motivated, eager to please, and has good handler focus when working with him.
When Keno first joined us, he was straight out of the shelter and reactive to other dogs. Now that he's settled in and we've gotten to know each other better, we think his reactive moments are due to excitement and his over-exuberant play style.
We think he will do just fine with well-suited doggie buddies with proper introductions plus responsibly-supervised play time so he doesn't come on too strong with lower-key or shy dog friends.
But no kitties for this boy--Keno is not cat safe! His prey drive likely extends to other small furry creatures, so he needs a home without them.

Our Adoption Fees:

*Dogs and puppies 12 months old or younger: $400
* Adult dogs over 12 months of age: $350
* Senior dogs over 7 years of age qualify for our "Seniors FUREVER" program! Seniors are special to us, so we offer two options:
(1) If your heart has a special place for the seniors, you can adopt a senior dog for the regular adoption fee of $350 and this becomes a perpetual fee. You can adopt another SGSDR senior dog at any time from us in the future at NO CHARGE.
(2) If you aren't sure about your future adoption capacity, you may adopt your SGSDR senior dog for a reduced adoption fee of $250.
