Meet Kenny <br/><br/>Sweet little Kenny is one of the many dogs recently rescued from a puppy mill that is shutting down. BCAA has partnered with our southern rescue allies to help dozens of these dogs finally get the fresh start they deserve. Like many from this heartbreaking situation, Kenny arrived in rough shapeunder-socialized, scared, and unsure of the world around him.<br/><br/>Kenny is a 3-year-old Schnauzer, weighing about 14 pounds. Before his rescue, his coat was so severely matted that he had to be completely shaved downeven his face and ears. His before photo says it all. But under all that neglect was a handsome boy just waiting to shine. Now, freshly groomed and feeling so much better, Kenny&#39;s true charm is starting to show.<br/><br/>He&#39;s still a bit timid, but his foster family is patiently helping him learn that people can be kind and gentle. He&#39;s slowly discovering the joys of soft beds, yummy treats, and loving hands. With time, he&#39;ll no doubt blossom into the sweet, loyal companion he was always meant to be.<br/><br/>Because Kenny and his fellow puppy mill survivors have never been on a leash before, a secure, fenced yard is required for potty breaks and outdoor time.
