The dog you have selected is a Belgian Malinois. This is a breed that has very specific needs for an adoptive home. Because of their need for a high level of exercise, both mentally and physically and their need for ongoing training, only applicants with demonstrated owner/handler experience with this breed will be considered. The vast majority of them are not best suited as family pets, but in homes with experienced handlers knowledgeable of their needs and breed characteristics. We will not place in homes with small children or small dogs/cats.

Kendra has been waiting for her perfect match since June 30, 2022, when she was found malnourished and scared on a porch in Lakeside, AZ. Thanks to the compassionate team at the Humane Society of the White Mountains, this sweet girl has blossomed into a playful, affectionate companion.
Favorite Pastime Playing Ball! Kendra absolutely loves toys, and fetch is her ultimate joy. She’s also a cuddle bug who firmly believes she’s a lap dog!
Dog-Friendly Yes! Kendra prefers the company of small dogs and would thrive in a home with the right canine companion.
Loyal & Loving – While she can take time to warm up to new people, once she trusts you, Kendra will be the most devoted friend you could ask for.
