Meet Kenai!
Kenai is an Akita that is estimated to be around 1-2 years old. He found his way to us as a stray and was never reclaimed. Kenai is a very smart and loyal pup! He is very treat/food motivated. Kenai knows the "sit" and "paw" commands. He warms up to new people best with food/treats. Once he warms up, he loves affection from his human friends. Kenai will need an owner that is willing to allow him to decompress on his own time, and breed experience is preferred. Kenai enjoys going out to the play yard, and loves to play with toys! He can be mouthy and vocal while playing. He also likes running around and exploring in the yard! Staff believe Kenai would thrive best with children aged 13 and above. Canine siblings would depend upon a meet and greet.
