Hello, I’m Kelly a 4-5 month old neutered male chi/terrier mix weighing in at about 25 pounds.

I’m a good natured boy who gets along nicely with other dogs, cats and kids. I am great at sharing my toys and water but I do prefer to have my own food bowl. I love to go for walks and my foster mom says I walk very nicely for a puppy! I like to play outside a few times a day or inside with toys to burn off some energy. In between playing I like to relax and cuddle. I will go in my crate at times to rest quietly while my foster mom is working during the day and sleep like a champ in it at night.

I am working on how to let my foster family know when I need to go potty, but haven’t had accidents when I’m kept on a schedule. They say I am very smart and food motivated which makes me eager to learn! I have mastered “sit” and “lay down” and now I’m working on learning to shake! I am a very quiet boy and rarely use my voice. I like to please my humans and will give you lots of love and snuggles!

Our application process includes landlord approval and vet checks. Please make sure all of your information is current and accurate, including a valid email address and phone numbers. Inaccuracies and/or incomplete data will delay and/or cancel your application. We strive to process all applications in a timely manner, but with the high volume of applications we are receiving, it is taking anywhere from 1-3 weeks. You may be contacted via email if there are concerns or questions. Once all of your information is reviewed and if your application is approved, you will be notified via email. Submitting an application and receiving an approval does not guarantee you will be adopting the dog you applied for. Once you move to the meet and greet process, you will be contacted by the foster family to further discuss the dog, and answer questions you may have, and if applicable, a meet and greet will be set up at our adoption center. Meet and greets are only set up with approved applicants, and we require all members in the household to be present, as well as any current dogs in the home.

Current Adoption Fees Are:
$400+tax for puppies to 3 years old
$350+tax for ages 4-7
$250+tax for ages 8 and up
Bonded pairs vary

The adoption fee covers spay/neuter, up to date age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, general deworming, heartworm test, (if over 6 months) and a certified veterinary inspection. Please be aware, listed dog breeds are based on information provided and cannot be guaranteed. Submitting an application for a particular dog does not guarantee that you will be the applicant chosen, we receive several applications for each dog. Our adopters are picked based on the needs of the dog, and the home we feel with best fit based on your responses to our application, vet information and landlord requirements. Approved applicants not chosen for the dog you applied for, will be in active status for a period of six months. We encourage you to watch Petfinder, Facebook and our website for upcoming dogs.
