Kay recently joined Greyt Angels from the American Lurcher Project. She is a happy, friendly girl with a great personality! Kay was retired due to a foot/toe injury. After an evaluation from an orthopedic vet on 11/25/2024, it was determined that the broken bones in Kay's foot/toe occurred about a month ago. At this point in time, her foot is healing and surgery was not recommended. It does not appear to bother Kay, as she walks and runs without limping or complaining. She is being leash-walked to allow more time for healing. Kay's foot will need to be monitored throughout the future in case any issues arise. She will be available for adoption the last week of December. Please check back for updates on Kay as her foster family gets to know her better. If your location is outside of the 3-hour-radius, you have previous greyhound/sighthound experience and have the support of a local greyhound adoption group near you, we encourage you to apply with Greyt Angels to place an available hound in your home.

Greyt Angels will continue to place hounds with new greyhound owners within the 3-hour-radius; that will remain unchanged. We are excited about our radius expansion so that fellow greyhound owners can enjoy the company of the sighthound breed we all love and support.
