Katy Border Collie & Great Pyrenees Mix Highlands, NJ

Hi my name is Katy. I am a 3.5 month old Border collie/Great Pyrenees mix. I was part of a big litter of 8 puppies who came from Oklahoma. We were born on a property where our mom lived quite unexpectedly and we were not wanted by the owner. The good news is we got to spend our early weeks and months being raised in an awesome foster home in Tulsa. We were loved, cared for and socialized with other dogs and a toddler. Most of my siblings were adopted and we all traveled to New England this past weekend with them going to their forever homes. I will be living in a foster home in NJ until it is my turn to get my very own forever home. I don’t know why they were adopted before me because I think I am sweeter and cuter with my black mask, fluffy head and spotted coat! I am now living with 2 other large breed dogs and 3 kids and am good with them all. My foster mom says I am very smart so already pretty close to being house trained. She also said I am the easiest puppy she has ever had and I make her laugh all the time! I am crate trained and learning some basic commands. I am playful and happy and love the outdoors. I love water so would be right next to you at beach or lake vacations! I would be great in a family or as a companion for someone who loves to be active. I will probably be about 70-75lbs as a fully grown adult.

My ideal home would include a physically fenced yard so the “Pyr” in me can relax and keep watch on my yard for hours on end! A doggie sibling to wrestle and play with would be great and maybe some kids too! I promise I can make my new family very happy!
