Katie Chihuahua Mix Rochester, NY

Katie is a 7-year-old chihuahua mix girl who weighs about 10 pounds. She came to our rescue after her owner passed away. She is super-shy and cat-like in behavior, but also is a sweet girl. She is hoping to find a new forever home and an owner with the patience to let her warm up. She is housebroken and pee-pad trained. She prefers a quiet home with gentle people. She does well with smaller dogs but doesn’t mind to be the only dog. A fenced in yard is a must as she doesn’t do well with leash walking. She likes to sleep on the bed under the covers. She can be quite vocal when the front door opens (would be a good guard dog!).

All our dogs have been spayed/neutered; treated for worms; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchip; and examined by veterinarian and given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed.
