Katie Husky Mix Brooklyn, NY

Katie is the smartest, most curious, and sweetest puppy. She is a 4 month old husky mix that weighs ~22lbs. Katie is a very affectionate little pupper who just wants to be loved and give ALL THE LOVE BACK. Sometimes, she thinks she’s a lap dog and will try her best to fit on your lap and cuddle you up while she gives you kisses – and it’s impossible to deny her, especially when she brings out the puppy eyes! At times, Katie can be a little sassy and will talk back to you if she has something to say (note: this is not barking, she’ll make cute and funny little noises to let you know she’s paying attention and that she has her own opinion!). She is great with other dogs (she’s currently fostering with another 4 month old puppy) and is happiest when she’s around people. If you enjoy staying active, you’ll love Katie! She’s very playful, loves running around, and will melt for belly rubs and neck scratches. Some of Katie’s favorite toys include tennis balls she can chase around as well as squeaky stuffed animal toys. Katie is a fast learner (especially when there’s treat motivation) and is currently being trained on obedience commands! So far, she’s great with “no,” “off,” “crate,” and “sit.” She’s working on “wait,” “down,” and “place.” Katie is crate trained (sleeps through the night!) and wee wee pad trained. In typical puppy fashion, she is teething and loves toys she can dig her teeth into. Anyone who is lucky enough to adopt this endearing little nugget will undoubtedly have the most fulfilling life filled with lots of laughter!
