Do you have room in your heart for a sassy senior girl with a lot of character? Well, nice to meet you! I'm Katie! I'm a 35lb., 8-10 year old Basset Hound. I am what they call a super sweetheart because I am just the epitome of lovable! I love my people (no kids) and I get along pretty well with male dogs, or I need to be an only dog. Yeah I've got a little bit of attitude but whatever...I've come to the point in my life where I'm doing things the way I want! If I want food, you're gonna serve me and hear about it! If you are dragging your feet with my food, I'm gonna let you know that type of lollygagging is not acceptable on my watch. I also enjoy making dinner conversation while you chow down. I'm potty trained when it is convenient for me (I do use puppy pads though). I can be playful and I really love a good car ride and my short walks around the block...SO many good smells out there! I think I could rock the whole trucker dog thing! These people say that I have something called "a heart murmur." I'm no doctor, but I'm pretty sure that must mean because I have so much love to give my person and I love talking so much that even my heart tries to talk too, right?! I also may have some allergies as well, but we are still trying to figure that out. You probably have realized I'm a little quirky by now, but I think quirky is fun and I'm just being me! My forever home will love me for exactly who I am...talking heart, stubborn head, and all my love they will get!
