Meet Katerina!

This one-year-old kind-hearted kelpie/shepherd mix is a lovely as can be! She weighs 53 pounds and is hoping her forever family will find her soon!

Affectionate and gentle, Katerina is such a joy to hang with. As she is still a young lady, she will benefit from continued training in her new home. She already knows sit and is very food-motivated which will come in handy when training her. She takes all sorts of treats gently and we just know she's capable of learning so much more! She'll never pass up a chance to be close and is very trusting from the moment you meet her!

Katerina enjoys lots of toys and also likes hanging in the yard with her fellow kennel mates. She will need daily exercise and a yard of her own in her new home. She absolutely LOVES the water and enjoys chilling in the kiddie pool on those hot summer days! She has an easy-going way about her and will make one lucky family happy for many years to come!

She recently went on an outing with some volunteers and is a rock star in the car. She hopped right in and was ready to hit the road. She walks well on her leash and is very curious about the world around her. Of course what outing would be complete without a pup cup which she enjoyed very much!

Based on our evaluation, we feel Katerina would do best in an active home with adults or families with kids ages five and up. She many have the potential to live in a home with other animals and we are happy to do a meet and greet with your family fur baby.
