Meet Kate - MI
Hi my name is Kate,
I am a beautiful female terrier mix that was born around 10/19/22. I weighs 4 lbs., am spayed, UTD on vaccines and preventatives and heartworm negative.
I was rescued from an overcrowded shelter where my life began to be at risk due to space. Thankfully, TAP saw my plea and took me in so they could save my life.
I'm is a fun, friendly girl who gets along great with other dogs! I'm playful and love my toys and chewies!
Sadly, I was not one of the lucky ones to find a foster home so I am currently waiting at the rescue / farm until it is my lucky turn. I really deserve to be a part of a family and have a real home with a yard to run and play! I will make a wonderful addition!
Currently this sweet baby is with our rescue in Arkansas.
We DO, however, transport monthly to the metro Detroit area of MI. Because we’re able to transport, we ARE able to accept adoption applications directly from residents of MI.
Why do we transport? Because animal overpopulation is severe in our region, and stray and unwanted dogs have very little chance of finding a home here. These babies are, however, at a high risk of being neglected, abused, abandoned, euthanized or even shot (it’s “the way things are done” for some people down here). YOU are truly one of the only safe and happy endings for the lucky ones we are able to rescue.
Upon approval of your adoption application, we will then transport your new furbaby to you in the metro Detroit area for just a small travel expense fee of $50 in addition to the adoption fee.

Before we can change your new furbaby’s status from "adoptable" to "adoption pending," the $50 transport fee must be paid to secure the adoption. At that time, we will stop accepting applications.
The entire adoption fee must be paid prior to the transport in order to ensure your new baby has a spot on the transport.
