Named after Princess Kate, this beautiful Beagle mix will need a gentle human to show her how wonderful life can be. Right now, Kate is scared of just about everything. Her foster mom reports that Kate is opening up more to her every day but she is definitely a work in progress. Sweet Kate will need a patient human, a quiet environment, and time.

A gentle soul, Kate never barks and displays no aggression towards people or animals. She is curious about the resident dog but got scared off when he was too frisky. Kate might do well with a confident, quieter dog in the house to show her the ropes.

Kate loves her crate and feels it is her safe spot. She is still working on house training. Outside is scary for her and she doesn’t enjoy walks; Kate will need a home with a quiet, fenced in backyard where she can peacefully explore though she is a flight risk due to her fears. She is also frightened of new sounds, strangers, and unfamiliar situations.
