Kate came to us through a rescue transfer with her sister Pippa. While Kate may be the shier of the two, she certainly makes up for it in her connection and affection once she gets to know you. Kate and Pippa will not be placed together.

Kate is an absolute love bug, often standing right behind you waiting for her head to be scratched or a quick pet before she goes off to do her business outside.

Kate does take some time to adjust to new environments and people, but she loves routine and picks up new things very quickly.

An ideal home for Kate would include another confident dog, a patient experienced handler, and a quiet home without too much hustle and bustle. She would excel in a training home, especially a fun agility home, tricks, or nose work.

Kate greatly wants to please her person and often will look to her person for direction on what to do next before attempting to play with others, etc.

Kate is great with dogs, but will not be placed with kids or cats.
