Kate Boxer Mix Highland, MD

FOSTER TO ADOPT Kate. Kate is 3 years old boxer mix about 35 lb. She loves all people, particularly children. She must have a fond memory of them from the past . She is unsure around other dogs so needs slow intro with calmer dogs. She is not reactive on walks but seems to avoid them on walks :) She is house trained and well behaved in the house. She likes her people to be home a lot so if you work from home, that would be perfect. Being in a crate - is not her strength.

She is unfortunately heartworm positive and her 2nd injections is scheduled on 2/15. That completes its treatment.

She also have old fractures that healed in past and that is causing one of her elbow to bend in a strange way. CHN will investigate further to see what we can do to ease any discomfort that she might have at our cost. Lastly, CHN will take care of her spaying.

She is up to date on vaccines and has had a wellness exam, heartworm tested and micro-chipped.
