Karen German Shepherd Dog Batavia, OH

Our volunteer, Paula, has worked with GSD's for many years so it's no surpise she chose Karen to work with.

This girl is up in her senior years, at 9 years old, but that doesn't take away the fact that this girl is a SMAR-T pants. She knows sit, both “paw”, down, stay, break, speak, up, etc…
She has been with us a while now and because she can be sassy in her kennel, not everyone wants to work with her which really depresses her.

Her face now lights up so bright and she is butter in Paula's hands...

Here's the facts about her:
??Needs to be the only pet in the home, but has plenty of personality to fill your heart.
??She would benefit greatly from an adopter who is experienced with this breed and who is willing to work with her to keep her mind busy and engaged through enrichment activities. She loves to please.
??A home with small children would not be a good match for her. Older children only, as in responsible teens.
??She is a big fan of hot dogs! ?

Senior dogs do not deserve to spend the rest of their years in a shelter. It's so unfair.
