Meet Kane
Kane is our soft-furred and gentle 55-pound Shar-pei and bully mix boy. He is dog friendly and easy to walk. Kane has an easy going nature and will be a great companion for his lucky adopter! He is cute and snuggly, and so his pet name at the rescue is Pooh, as in Winnie the Pooh!
Like too many, Kane is heartworm positive. He has started the premeds and Red Barn will cover the expense of his treatment. Kane is asymptomatic and will be completely healthy after treatment. The vet has estimated Kane to be around 3 years old - a great age (young but past the challenging puppy phase of life). If you would like a large "teddy bear" type of dog, apply to meet this sweetheart!
Kane is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and up to date on heartworm and flea/tick preventative. Our $300 adoption fee helps to cover these expenses.
