Kamila Terrier Mix New Orleans, LA

Oh sweet Kamila! Our partnering transport kept seeing this sweet girl as she moved pups in danger of being euthanized into rescue. After a few weeks, she realized what we all now know. Kamila is so sweet, inquisitive, and amazingly smart. Finally, it’s her turn. She got her freedom ride out of that rural shelter and into rescue where her new life begins. Kamila loves to explore the outdoors, is a professional car rider and crate napper too! She’s been great at learning commands and is very friendly with other dogs. She’s a great sofa snuggler and enjoys watching TV with her humans. Kamila is ~36lbs and 2 years of age, a gorgeous mix of brindle and white mixed terrier breed. We suspect she’s mixed with a small breed given her smaller size., Kamila is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations. She is heart-worm positive and will be starting treatment, which will be covered under the rescues partnering vet.

This sweet girl is ready for her forever home!

An inquiry, questions or introduction through Petfinder is NOT an application. All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info would be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the number of introductions/questions received (hundreds daily) we ask you submit an application on our website (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue).

The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention. Please see our website for more information.

2022 Adoption Fee Scale for non-benefactor animals:
Puppies under 12 months - $350
Dogs over 12 months - $250
