Euthanasia rates are incredibly high for both puppies and adult dogs. Our dogs are brought to you in transport buses, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. Our Adoption Coordinator will help to find the closest transport pick up location to you!<br/><br/>The adoption fee ranges for those being transported and is $75 for those being picked up at our Angleton, Tx location. It covers the cost of transport and includes all vetting: DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, spay/neuter, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, micro-chipping, a collar, and many years of laughs and love to come!<br/><br/>Why adopt from Pura Sanguine?<br/>In 2021 Texas was ranked the No. 1 state for animal shelter deaths, the Greater Houston area is in desperate need to find other homing options outside of this area. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. This Little Hero has been blessed to get a second chance in life and is excited to start its next journey with you!<br/><br/>We know our dogs very well and have spent countless hours with them, learning all of their quirks and goofy personalities. We have a team of dedicated animal care professionals that work day in and day out to bring every Little Hero out of their shell. From the moment they are accepted into our program we provide behavior & medical care to prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally training, and providing social enrichment. We provide socialization for our dogs through playgroups and one on one bonding time, where we will also work on their other skills such as leash training and basic commands. Our goal is to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts and just want someone to be understanding with them, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!<br/><br/>By adopting from us, you save TWO lives at once.
