Kaleena - the Blooming Flower Alaskan Malamute Gettysburg, PA

Kaleena is a beautiful six-year-old girl, born in June 2013 and weighs about 78 lbs.

Kaleena came to the rescue from a back yard breeder with which she had received little human contact from. She was initially shy with people and would coward in new environments. Even though new situations scared her she remained very gentle and affectionate with people. She'll circle around on a walk, come over to sit on your feet and lean into you for some love. She has been in the rescue for over a year now and with a little medication, she has warmed up to all situations and has blossomed into a wonderful happy girl. We would like to see her weaned off of medication as she settles into her new enviroment.

LIKES: She LOVES her walks & does not pull on a leash. She is excellent in a crate and will need one in her new home because she views it as her safe place. Kaleena wants the love and attention of humans and loves to roll over for belly rubs, roll around on the cool grass and lean into you for kisses.

Kaleena does well with other dogs outside of the home on walks and seeing them but will prefer to be the one girl in the home.
