If Kaia had a motto it would have to be "Today is the first day of the rest of your life"!! Kaia is in the prime of her life and she isn't letting one moment go without being joyful, upbeat and just happy to be alive!! Kaia was found as, what we believe was, a discarded puppy mill dog judging by her poor physical condition and multiple scars from c-sections common to the breed. But that was then and this is now, and Kaia is NOT looking back!!

Kaia’s love of life is infectious -- it's hard to be in a bad mood when she is around. She has one of the best bulldog dispositions we have ever seen. A breed known for being stubborn and moody, she has taken on the more loving, sweet and obedient traits. From day one Kaia wanted nothing more than to receive and give attention. Obviously starved for human love she was noted to be what we call a "Velcro dog" right away, so please make sure you’re up for a 4-legged shadow!! And please make room in your lap because Kaia thinks that’s the best seat in the house! She's charmed everyone with her gentle enthusiasm and bright spirit, and we know there must be someone out there who will open their heart to a little girl who will always remind you to look on the bright side of life.

With all of that being said one of the many downsides to life as a breed dog is anxiety and skittishness. Kaia shows her anxiety by getting into things when she knows you are gone. Sometimes she will tear it up, sometimes she just scatters stuff around for company while you’re away. This is solved by lots of understanding and keeping her in a crate while your gone which she is very content with. She will cower down if you approach her from over her head but is very responsive by brining your hand from under her chest up slowly. For these reasons, we will not consider any homes with children under 12.

Kaia is about 3 - 4 years old, she weighs a stocky 50 pounds and she’s a very healthy girl. We have no idea what her true mix is, but Wigglebutt might be her best description.
