Crate Training: Good, although he doesn't like other animals around his crate when he's in it, it's his personal space and he likes to keep it to himself
Other Dogs: Good as long as he gets his space when he needs it

Health: Kahlua has some disk compression which causes a wobbly gait, and he also has a grade II heart murmur. However, he doesn't let that stop him and he has a lot of life left! He is neutered, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, and is current on vaccines. Your adoption donation goes toward the cost of this vet care as well as transportation and general care costs. In addition, all pets adopted from Motley Zoo come with 30 days of free pet insurance provided by Shelter Care.

History: Motley Zoo Animal Rescue was asked to find Kahlua a great forever family and that is exactly what we plan to do!

Notes from Kahlua's Foster Home: K halua is an incredibly sweet dog who would spend his entire day in  your lap if you gave him the chance. He is very quiet (never heard a  bark) and well behaved (no bathroom accidents, no chewing on unwanted  things). He behaves well around his food, even when strangers are  present. He is a slightly older dog and he grows tired easily, but for  an hour a day or so he is very willing to bop around a tennis ball in  the living room. When he isn't in that playful mood he will do his   best to convince you to cuddle with him, although stopping well short of being annoying with this behaviour. He is easy to pick up, and loves to be held; he is even   tolerant of things like wearing a sweater.   Overall, he is a great house dog; easy to care for and full of love. He doesn't do the best on the stairs and can be somewhat wobbly on uneven surfaces, but he is a great little dog who doesn't let it stop him from having fun (or standing up, asking you to hold him)! :) 


All dogs adopted from Motley Zoo come with a leash and either a Martingale collar or a harness, depending on each dog's particular needs.
