Kahleigh Great Pyrenees & Golden Retriever Mix Kiowa, OK

MY STORY
Hello everyone, it is a pleasure to meet you. If I could, I would love to personally greet every one of you. However, I am here to share my story and hopefully for one lucky person I will not only be meeting them, but be spending the rest of my life with them! I was abandoned. Why I don't know. I spent weeks just wandering around town, waiting...hoping...begging that someone would take me in and love me. It took awhile, but finally someone did. They tried getting all my matts out, which as you can see left my coat in shambles. However, they gave me a safe place to stay and I will forever be grateful for that. When no owner showed up to reclaim me, they took me to the shelter where I served stray hold. When no one came again, the shelter reached out to this rescue to take me in. I had shut down in the shelter, didn't want to eat very much, and was not happy. Thankfully, they said yes and I am now in an awesome foster home. I am gaining weight, and while my coat is not the prettiest right now it will grow back. Can you imagine just how gorgeous I am going to be when it does? With all that malnourished coat gone, and only nice soft and fluffy fur? Oh I cannot wait!
ABOUT ME
My name is Kahleigh and I am a 6 year old female Great Pyrenees mix. It is hard to say what else I am mixed with is, but best guess is Golden Retriever. I currently weigh 71lbs, and will probably top out somewhere close to the 90lb range. Here is what my foster says about me
"If you are wanting a laid back and low maintenance dog, I cannot imagine a better fit than Kahleigh. This girl is so easy going, and such a lovebug. She is not pushy about attention though, but when you do love on her she is in heaven. Kahleigh is potty trained, she doesn't chew, and can be given free roam of the house. She is a dog that doesn't ask for much, all she wants is a family that will give her lots of love. She is very patient with the more rowdy dogs, and is a true diamond in the rough. Her coat is pretty mangled right now, but the good news is..it will grow back. It looks like her coat will have a golden tint to it, but it is hard to say for sure. She has the most beautiful eyes, and I can promise that to know Kahleigh is to love her! ? "
If you are wanting a dog you can take everywhere with you, I cannot say for sure how I would do since I have not been to any public outings. I will say that since I do have a more laid back personality I would probably be fine. Personality wise, I would say I am more of a homebody though. I enjoy quiet home environments and just chilling with my people. I do walk well on a leash, and do well on car rides. I have good house manners, and have not attempted to chew on anything. I am potty trained, and so far don't seem to be much of a barker. My foster doesn't kennel, so I am not kennel trained. The good news is that I don't need a kennel as I do great with free roam of the house when no one is home and at night. I do well with other dogs, but am also indifferent to them. I also do well with cats. I have not been around any kids.
WHAT AM I LOOKING FOR IN MY NEW
My ideal home environment would be on the more laid back side. Preferably with someone who is home a lot, and is wanting a sweet and laid back dog. I also want a home that won't kennel me since it is not necessary for me. I would do fine in a home with or without other dogs.

My adoption fee is $225 and that will include my vaccinations, spay, and micro-chip. I will also be heart-worm and Ehrlichia negative, and current on my preventatives.

I am being fostered in Kiowa, OK. This rescue does adopt out of state as long as you can pick me up. They don't send us on transports or ship us.
