Kadie is an 8 year old wire hair Terrier girl that has a loving elderly owner who now needs to move into an assisted living facility. Kadie is still living with her owner, but she needs a new family as soon as possible. Contact Duke directly at 907-347-9913 to discuss adopting Kadie.

Kadie is a little lap dog that gets very attached and loving with her person. She wants to be with her person as much as possible. Kadie likes to snuggle in on the sofa together to watch TV or snuggle her person while they read or nap. Kadie would do wonderfully with a person who prefers to stay home and who keeps a quiet home free from commotion of many visitors or children.

Her family shared that she is good with dogs and Kadie currently lives peacefully with another small dog. Kadie gets along with people though she gets protective of her owner and has growled and sometimes nipped at someone that try to pick her up to remove her from the comfort of her elderly owner. A good home for Kadie is one where she can have patience while she adjusts to a new family and she can have a stable environment.

Regarding house-training, Kadie does well during the day but when she sleeps with her owner at night she may sneak off to relieve herself during the night. However, she does well overnight if she has a separate sleeping spot.
