Meet Junior
Hi, my name is Junior! Here is what would work best for me in my new home:
-Personality: Independent, active, sensitive
-Can Live with Kids: Yes, 14 and older if they have experience living with dogs, otherwise 16 and older only.
-Can Live with Cats: Unknown history, will need proper introduction. Confident cats only.
-Can Live with Dogs: No thank you!
-Can do Apartment Living: No, likely has separation anxiety and is vocal when left alone.
-Potty Trained: Appears to be!
-Bite History: None
-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: Yes, 1 private lesson
-Energy Level: Medium
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Nope
-Additional Information: Junior has been a bit anxious here at WHS which is likely due to a stressful environment and his itchy skin. Junior has Flea allergy dermatitis which causes extreme irritation on his rear end when fleas bite him. In order to keep Junior comfortable he will need regular flea treatment whether fleas are seen or not. A high quality diet to rule out any additional allergies and topical itch reliving treatment would also benefit him. Junior will need a home that can understand dog body language, he can become tense when overstimulated and shows clear signs when he feels uncomfortable. Junior would enjoy long walks and plenty of time outside since he was mainly outdoors in his last home, he would definitely take advantage of a fenced in yard!
