Hey, the name’s Junie! I was fondly named after Junie B. Jones and my humans tell me I am pretty goofy and have a calm and lovable personality. I’m pretty jazzed to find my forever home and thought now’s a great time to share a little bit more about myself.

I’m almost three-years-old, I love the outdoors, I think squeaky toys are the best, and love being in the company of my humans. I do enjoy time spent with other dogs but it is really important for me to have slow, controlled introductions. That way I am super comfortable and relaxed! And I really like food, like really, really like food and so if I am living with another dog I just need to be fed in a separate area.

I haven’t lived with kids, but I think I would do okay with teenager-age and older who are dog-savvy. Especially if they like giving belly scratches, those are amazing! Also, I like to give hugs and stand on my back two feet to give the best bear hug I know how.

I do know that I am looking for a forever home with some room to roam and no shared walls. I love to hike, explore, and go on adventures with my human! And while a fenced yard would be awesome, as long as I have the opportunity to get my energy out through walks each day and some playtime, I should be okay without one. But if there is one, I will be elated!

I also would love a home where my human(s) are home a lot – more time to spend together I say is the best way! And that’s me – an endearing goofball who cannot wait to find her forever home.

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, & Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant including registration. Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.

There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is often unknown. All ages and breeds are best guess.

Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 90-mile radius of Minneapolis, however, we will consider up to 250 miles if the adopter is willing to drive to cities as needed.
