Hi there, my name is June Bug. I am about 2 years old and about 9 lbs. I am looking for a 'forever' home.

June Bug has finally come out of her shell after two weeks in the foster home and is much better around the family and visitors. She loves it when we pet her and likes belly rubs but she still cannot tolerate being picked up and will shriek if you try. She is still pretty timid and submissive but is comfortable with us now and joins us throughout the house and yard. She is great with our 3 small dogs and cat and loves hanging out with our smallest dog which is her size. She will go outside to do her business if you leave the patio door open or go out with her. June Bug is a very special little dog looking for a loving patient family so she can build her trust. She would do well with another small dog as this makes her much more comfortable.

June Bug is still timid and tends to cower when you walk by or call her to you so would do well in an experienced quiet home with older or no children. If you have experience with fearful dogs and you are interested in meeting June Bug please apply.

Please note that Little Mutts Rescue adoption fees are generally $475 for dogs 1-3 years old (young adult), $350 for dogs that are 4-7 years old (mature adult), $250 for dogs over 8+ years old (senior). Includes spay / neuter, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchip, and a vet certificate of health (please note that if puppies are born in Calgary, we do not have a vet certificate to provide).
