Meet June (needs foster as well)
June is approximately 2-3 years old, and would do best in a home as an only pet, or maybe with a confident male dog. She is a very sweet girl who has been through a lot in her short life. She came to rescue after having been an outdoor-only dog and being diagnosed with a life-threatening infection and heartworms, both of which she has recovered from beautifully! Now, she’s just looking for a home of her very own. Since she’s now inside and off crate rest, she’s just starting to learn how to be a dog. She will need someone who can be patient with her and continue this training and structure as she gets the hang of it all. In the meantime, she is loving cuddling up next to her person wherever they will let her be! She does great on car rides and walks beautifully on a leash, and just really wants to do whatever lets her be involved with her person (or people)! She loves kids, but can be overwhelmed if they are too overbearing upon first meet. But once she settles into a home, she’d make a great family dog! June has so much love to give, and is just waiting for someone who will return that love right back! Inquire about June at www.lexpitcrew.org.
