Meet June - A Graceful Soul in Great Dane Form There are dogs and then there is June. A vision in brindle and white, this 3-year-old, 100-pound Great Dane is the embodiment of quiet majesty and gentle strength. With her long, elegant stride and serene presence, June moves through the world like a gazelle-light on her feet, yet grounded in love. Rescued by a small town animal control officer, this girl was in a neglect situation and her life was spared from more years of a sad existence. Today you would never know her heart and soul had been so mistreated. June has not only captured hearts-she has healed them as well as her own. In her foster home, she has proven to be a gentle treasure: housebroken, well-mannered, and endlessly affectionate. She delights in the company of other dogs and finds pure joy in the simple pleasure of play. There is a poetic softness to her, as though she knows what it is to be lost, and what it means to be found.

June is not suited for a home with cats, as her instincts to chase are strong. However, she would thrive in a peaceful home with a securely fenced yard-an open space where she can run with the elegance that seems to be written into her very soul.
