June and her probable sibling, Jonesy, were picked up on a country road miles from civilization, obviously dumped and abandoned. It took the Good Samaritan days to gain their trust enough to allow them to be caught. They were then taken to the local animal shelter, and the shelter requested rescue for them because they were so frightened. These two mostly-Dobies were estimated at 3 years old, and they're now happy, friendly dogs that are very dog-social and ready for their new homes. Though we don't feel they have to be placed together, it would probably be beneficial to each of them to be placed with another dog in the home. A little work on leash will be required, but what they need the most is to know that they're in a loving, permanent home situation where they can feel secure for the rest of their days.
