Meet Juju
Hi, my name is Juju! I'm estimated to be a Pit Bull mix born around 12/26/2015. I weigh around 50 pounds and came up to Wisconsin from Arkansas. I have a history of being good with dogs. I am not good with kids and I am iffy with cats. I was teased by kids in a previous home and now react poorly to them. The shelter that sent me had this to say: "Juju is a wonderful dog. Very loving and would make a wonderful dog for an adult only home." Obedience classes for adult dogs and puppies can be incredibly helpful for both animals and humans. It helps you understand what makes me tick and will give me a better idea of what you want me to do. It’s a win/win and it will also strengthen the bond between us! Apply for me today!
Staff note: Juju is very sweet, loves treats and knows sit, playing with toys is so much fun for him he loves stuffy toys. He loves to run and nap on the couch and just get loved on.
Staff notes on Juju: Juju has been here for a few months and other than not enjoying children, he is a gem. He is mellow and calm, walks well on a leash, loves to have his belly rubbed and would hold down the couch all day if he could. He doesn't bark in his kennel and has wonderful manners. He would be a great fit for a home that doesn't have young kids, wants a dog to take a casual walk with and just be an overall sweet companion.
My adoption fee is $60.00. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Erlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.
CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home. CCHS has been inspected and licensed by the Department of Animal Health - DATCP. Our license is #268235-DS
