Meet JUDY BOOODY!

Hey, I'm Judy but my foster mom calls me Judy Boody or Big Boody Judy. It's so embarassing! I'm around 2 or 3 years old and they think I'm a long haired Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix but no one knows for sure. Everyone says I'm a delightful dog so I hope it won't be too hard to find my forever home. I was bounced around a bit before arriving in Nebraska and then they found out I had heartworms. Well, one heartworm I guess. I went through all the treatment to kill that darn worm and am now all healed up and ready to go.

I'm a medium energy dog who loves my walks so I will definitely need an owner who will walk me a couple times a day. I am great on a leash other than getting a little excited by dogs, rabbits and squirrels but I don't pull hard. I just bark a little and spin in circles to show my excitement. My foster mom says my ears wiggle when I walk and she thinks it is super cute. I do get occasional zoomies and play with my toys but I'm definitely not hyper. When I do get playful, I sometimes play bite my humans. I'm not being mean, just playful, but my foster mom says that is bad manners and has been working with me to stop that. I like my couch/bed time and am happy to snooze away the day while my foster mom is at work. I don't need to be kenneled as I am not at all destructive. I am housetrained but have had occasional accidents, particularly if my normal routine gets disrupted.

I get along with the dogs, cats, and even kittens in my foster home. I enjoy the company of other calm dogs but don't appreciate hyper dogs in my face. I'm not really interested in playing with dogs but am happy to be social (you know, butt-sniffing). I've liked all the people I've met, including children. I would prefer a home without young kiddos just because I think they are too energetic for me. Older kids would be better or even young grandkids who visit but don't live there. That way I get plenty of quiet time.

If you're looking for a calm, quiet dog to be your sidekick, I am definitely your girl!
