Meet JR

JR is a very affectionate 5-year-old dog who would like to share your lap and your heart, if you let him. Our volunteers report that he has great leash manners and prefers shorter walks. JR loves car rides and is a good boy in the car. He enjoys playing with toys and loves his training time. JR is part of our Shelter Dog Training Program and is one of our best students. His main issue is that he loves with a lot of enthusiasm, which can be overwhelming to some, given he is a robust 75 lbs. We are working to help him learn how to rein that in and he is doing great!

He has previously lived with cats and other dogs, though he may be dog selective as most dogs his age are.
