Hi, my name is Joy and believe me, that's exactly what I am!
I'm not sure why but my family abandoned me on a chain without food, water, or shelter.
Here are some things you should know about me:
Born approximately 12/6/20
Very loving with people
Great with other dogs
Should be fed by myself, away from other dogs, since I've been so hungry for so long and they may try to steal my yummies
Currently undergoing all of the vaccines, preventatives, and heart worm treatment that my family failed to provide for me. The Artemis Project is taking care of all of this for my future adoptive family.
On the road to a great recovery!
I am MORE than ready to be treated the way that I deserve. Please give me a chance to show you who I was born to be!
Currently this sweet baby is with our rescue in Arkansas.
We DO, however, transport monthly to the metro Detroit area of MI. Because we’re able to transport, we ARE able to accept adoption applications directly from residents of MI.
Why do we transport? Because animal overpopulation is severe in our region, and stray and unwanted dogs have very little chance of finding a home here. These babies are, however, at a high risk of being neglected, abused, abandoned, euthanized or even shot (it’s “the way things are done” for some people down here). YOU are truly one of the only safe and happy endings for the lucky ones we are able to rescue.
Upon approval of your adoption application, we will then transport your new furbaby to you in the metro Detroit area for just a small travel expense fee of $50 in addition to the adoption fee.

Before we can change your new furbaby’s status from "adoptable" to "adoption pending," the $50 transport fee must be paid to secure the adoption. At that time, we will stop accepting applications.
The entire adoption fee must be paid prior to the transport in order to ensure your new baby has a spot on the transport.
