Meet Josie-Senior
Josie is 14 year old silky wirehair dachshund. She is around 12 pounds or so. She is incredibly sweet and good with cats, dogs and kids (if they are older and quiet)
Josie has very advanced dental disease and has no bottom jaw left due to infection. She will be losing her other teeth in her upcoming dental. She needs prescription urinary food so she doesn't get bladder stones. Her liver and kidneys looks healthy after reviewing her bloodwork. She also has mitral valve disease (where some blood flows backwards through the valve), but it is not advanced enough that she needs heart medicine at this time. She really likes other small dogs and is neutral with cats. Her favorite spot to nap is actually on a cat tree!
This precious senior girl would love a quiet forever home with occasional outdoor walks and a warm lap to lay on. She does have some medical conditions, but these are manageable with regular checkups.
She is quiet enough for shared wall living , we believe!
