Meet Josie! A friendly and loyal 6yo Beagle looking for her forever home.
Josie loves to cuddle and will burrow under the blankets to snuggle up next to you. She also enjoys her plush toys and playing fetch!
On walks she will sometimes bark at other dogs, but she has done wonderfully with the resident dog in her foster home. She has not had exposure to cats or children, but sudden movements when she is asleep do startle her and she will bark defensively. If there are any kids in the home, a recommendation that they be dog-savvy.
This 40-pound sweetheart knows to stand by the door when she needs to use the restroom and loves her crate which is left open for her 24/7. Josie enjoys two or three walks a day where she can sniff the world around her.
Josie has absolutely loved having someone home all the time as she adores the company and would be overjoyed to have something similar in her forever home. She makes a wonderful companion and will be sure to warm your heart!
Her adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, & Bordetella), HW and flea/tick preventative, and microchip implant and registration.
There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best guess.
Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.
Due to post-adoption services provided, it is Pet Haven's policy to only place dogs into homes within a 75-mile radius of the Minneapolis, MN city center.
