Josie is a Lab mix puppy who was born June 1. Both parents are medium-large sized Lab mixes. She may also have a litte German Shepherd mixed in but that is only a guess! She also appears to have an undercoat such as a Shepherd might. She is affectionate and a very sweet puppy! She has been living with other dogs, cats, poultry, horses and goats. She will make a nice family pet but will require time and effort to get there as she is just a baby!<br/><br/>She has been started on her vaccinations, been dewormed and will be spayed when she is about 12 weeks old. Medical care will be kept current for as long as she is in foster care awaiting her forever home. <br/><br/>Our dogs/puppies live in home situations so are instructed in basic behaviors, housetraining and such. All of our dogs/puppies are current on vaccinations at the point of adoption, heartworm tested and on preventative seasonally in addition to being spayed or neutered when they are 3-4 months old. To be included in the adoption fee the sterilization surgery must be completed by our local participating vets. It can be completed elsewhere at the adopter's expense and is required! Any other medical conditions that come up are also treated. This is all included in the adoption fee.
